Hair update.... lets walk this stretch together!

Welcome to the month of July!!! This post is not on my sisters hair update but I had to throw in that pic because #hersmilegivesmelife lol.

Hey lovelies:-) Welcome to the second half of the year 2015!!! For me this year has been amazing... I thank God for the fact that I moved into the second half of the year with my lovely readers as well as my friends and family. Also....without doing so much damage to my hair ...by myself haha!

So, ladies...I'm 10weeks post relaxer and I have 8 (or 10) more weeks to go before I relax my hair. This is where the relaxer stretch starts getting tough because your new growth starts growing in and a dense fro starts forming. What I plan to do on this stretch is to walk you through the remaining eigth weeks of this stretch. I will be doing more regular posts just so you get everything that makes me survive the stretch and hopefully you can attempt stretching your relaxer too :-)

Products I used

I have had my full bottle of 911 emergency hair treatment leave in for a year now without using it simply because my sis didn't like the smell (to her it smells like the drug coartem! Lol). I found nothing wrong with the smell but It was really strengthening. I have decided to include it to my moisturising and sealing since I do mostly moisturising DC's on washdays this should add some strength so my strands don't stay lazy...lol

My bun routine:
I had my washday on Sunday....everything I did was same ole' so I didn't give details...(so I don't bore you again).
Airdryed my hair in a bun with a satin scarf tied around my head to help smoothen it out and lay my edges flat. This is a better way of smoothening your bun or edges without disturbing your hairlines too much with a brush.
Is it weired that my satin scarf is white? Lol

Every two days I take the bun down...with fingers only...I section my hair into four sections. Divide a section in two... Then apply some leave in conditioner to the length of my hair.
*I put a lil moisturiser on the pads of my fingers and then apply it to my newgrowrh as if I were doing a scalp massage (let's call it a new growth massage :-D).
*I also apply some moisturiser to the length of my hair...a litle so I don't weigh my hair down.
*lastly I seal with either Shea butter or an oil or emilly millionaire coconut oil and herbs cream.
Moisturising my new growth with moisturiser applied to the pads of my fingers.

My hair is lowporousity and protein sensitive....i surely will not be using the 911 leave in every time I moisturise and seal. So In the two weeks that I may have moisturised n sealed say 5 times I will use it 3 times. I apply oil to my scalp with an applicator bottle, do a 5mins scapl massage and put my hair back in the bun when I'm done. For sleep, I tie my hair with satin scarf.

So ladies..that's my routine when on a relaxer stretch and my hair is in a bun. Keep stalking...let's walk this stretch together :-)
Forgive my bent parting :-)
